"Pumpkin picking at Billy Bob's Farm today in Usk!

I mean what a lovely place and absolutely delightful hosts, was a lovely place to go, set up for the kids and great for them to see

the animals up close!"

Make memories that last a lifetime

It's really important that our pumpkin patch be a place where you can create memories. Whether that's with your little ones, your friends or your four-legged friend - everyone is invited.

We started this event with the dream that it would become a family tradition.

Billy Bobs Pumpkin Patch has been set up to allow you to enjoy the countryside and the fresh air. You can head to the pumpkin patch and pose for pictures on the way.

If you don't feel like venturing out through the fields you can choose from one of the pumpkins in our spooky barn!

Here we have games, food, animals to meet, and an area to carve your pumpkins (Additional charges apply)

We are dog friendly

Pumpkin patches aren't just for two-legged visitors.

We are open to well-behaved pooches. We love to see them all dressed

up in their best Halloween costumes!

We ask that you keep them on their leads, clean up after them and keep

a respectful distance from the farm animals.

What should I wear? We recommend that you wear clothes suitable for the outside, you will be on a farm in autumn in Wales so please bring something to keep your dry and warm. Wellies or outside boots are great for pumpkin picking. You may want to wear gloves as the stalks on the pumpkins can be prickly especially for little hands. Please avoid wearing your best white trainers and heels as the field could be muddy.

Is it far to walk? The closest parking spaces are about 200 metres from the pumpkin patch. Please ask a member of the team should you require assistance.

Can I bring my dog? We do accept well-behaved dogs. We're even happier to invite them through the gates when they are in costume! We do ask that you keep the dogs on leads at all times, at a respectful distance from the farm animals and clean up after them in the interest of keeping the patch a clean and fun event for families.

Can I take photos? Course you can! Please take as many photos of your friends and family as you like whilst with us. Please be mindful of the people around you when taking photos. We do not allow professional photographers without prior approval or drones.

How much does it cost? We charge £10.41 per car (this includes the booking fee) This includes parking and having access to our pumpkin patch, maze, games, animals and shed. This is non-refundable and secures your time slot to visit us within the selected time and date. If you aren't able to make your time please contact us on facebook as we may be able to move your slot, dependant on availability. Pumpkins are additional. They are priced according to size starting from £2 upwards. A price guide will be available in our barn. Please ask a member of staff if you have any questions.

How long do carved pumpkins last? You should carve your pumpkin no more than 5 days before Halloween. You can however keep an uncarved pumpkin in a cool dry place for a good over a year before you have him and he'll be perfectly happy and healthy! (We've got pumpkins at home over a year old!)

What is the accessibility to the pumpkin patch? We recommend a baby carrier or an all terrain pushchair if possible. The pumpkin patch is around a 5 minute walk from the carpark over ground that can be muddy dependant on the weather conditions. The shed has disabled access and there will be a selection of prepicked pumpkins here to choose from along with light refreshments, animals and games. Please contact us before you visit so that we can allocate parking for better access to the shed.

Do I need to cut the pumpkins off their vines? No, the pumpkins will already be cut off their vines. You must NOT bring any secateurs, pen knives, knives, scissors or sharp blades. You will be asked to put these in your car if found, or surrender to staff, until your departure.

Will I get muddy? If the weather has been dry, it'll be unlikely to be muddy. If it has rained there is a strong possibility that you will get muddy. The pumpkins are in a field so they may be muddy too! We do no have running water in the field so please bring something with you to clean your hands and a bag to put your dirty shoes/boots in as well as the pumpkins. We believe mud makes memories so please bring a spare change of clothes for your little ones or a pair of waterproofs to keep your car clean!

What happens if the weather is bad? You’re still more than welcome to pick your pumpkin, but please ensure that you wear sensible shoes and waterproofs. If the forecast is bad, please check our social media pages and the news page on our website for updates regarding closures. All terms and conditions regarding events being cancelled or postponed can be found on our website Event T&C’s page.

Do you have a toilet? There will be a temporary toilet available on site.

Do I need to bring a bag? Yes please! A reusable supermarket bag, Ikea back or something similar is perfect for carrying pumpkins to your car and keeping both your pumpkins safe and car clean. Pumpkin are heavy and black bin bags will not be strong enough to carry many heavy pumpkins.
